Each vitamin has a unique function, but by taking a B Complex you get the benefit of all the B vitamins together and the advantage that B vitamins work synergistically, meaning they work better together than separately.  Most B Complex supplements contain all the B vitamins -B1 Thiamine, B2 Riboflavin, B3 Niacin (Nicotinamide is used in our B Complex to minimise the effects of flushing which sometimes occur, when using Nicotinic Acid as the form of Niacin), B5 Pantothenic Acid, B6 Pryidoxine, Biotin, Folic Acid, Choline, Inositol and B12 Cobalamine.

B Vitamins particularly Choline and Inositol help to properly utilize fats, carbohydrates and proteins providing the body with necessary energy. B vitamins are known as the “morale vitamins” because of their beneficial effects on the nervous system and mental attitude, helping to improve concentration, memory and balance, particularly useful when suffering from stress, depression, irritability, tension or insomnia.
B Vitamins help promote growth, healthy skin, hair and nails and is good for alleviating eye fatigue and general vision.

Contraindications: Toxicity not known from B Vits, although excessive amounts of Niacin may cause flushing, headaches and stomache ache.
